Seersucker Thursday

Now that we’re in the first days of summer and the heat is rising it's time to wear seersucker. Seersucker Thursday is annual tradition in the United States Congress in which Senators don the lightweight, striped, summer-friendly fabric seersucker, in the spirit of traditional Southern clothes, on usually the second or third Thursday of June.
The tradition was started in 1996 by Republican Senator Trent Lott of Mississippi. He wanted to "bring a little Southern charm to the Capitol" to remind the Senate of how Senators dressed before the advent of air conditioning in the 1950s.

Officine Panerai: Italian design, Swiss technology and the true maritime heritage

The Style Buff by Gianni Fontana - Panerai

During the Design Week in Milano I had the chance to visit the Panerai exhibition in Palazzo Della Triennale. Another occasion to get close to the masterpieces and to the history of this company.

Values that Officine Panerai expresses through its watches, which it reinterprets over time with passion, technical excellence and exclusive design.
